I recently suffered a bad back injury and was having trouble keeping up with the general household chores and maintenance.
A big thing that was piling up was the leaves falling from my giant magnolia tree. In the sanctuary garden. I don't mind some leaves but end up with massive piles.
I couldn't find what I was looking for to buy so thanks to ryobi & a few small items from bunnings decided make my rake into this multi tool.
Philmac Thread Pipe Cap
Saxon Plastic Leaf Rake
selleys fix & go muliti grip
Zenith 10 - 8 x 75mm Galvanised Timber Screw
Ryobi 18V ONE+ Drill Driver
Scissors
Remove the current end off your Rake with scissors or pliers.
Drill a hole in the pipe cap
Thread the screw through the pipe cap, and use the multi grip glue to glue it to the end of your rake.
Leave it to dry for an hour pr so before using, and then you are ready to pick up your leaf litter or trash.
Easy to place it in your green waste bin without bending.
What a nifty idea, @Herrenovacation! I love your ingenuity, and I'm sure it's helped prevent a sore back.
Many thanks for sharing.
