Hey all
These just over 3 yrs. Last year I pruned the storks off and let it grow. Should I trim it back to the ground or just prune off the dead bits?
Is it a Dianella, also known as Flax Lilly?
If so remove the dead storks or leaves at any time. Although the best time to fully prune is in the spring or early summer, before the new growth appears. Only needs major pruning only about once every five years to help ensure it continues to bloom and present lovely foliage and you can cut back to the ground if stems become too leggy.
Hope this helps.
Hello @amichaelmedia
Thank you for sharing your question about your plants. It's great that you've received excellent advice from @Herrenovacation.
I agree with Herrenovacation and that is to remove all the dead leaves around it. I recommend following their suggested schedule for trimming and leaving it as is for the meantime.
