Hi
Looking for suggestions for plants to replace in these hanging fence pouches.
They are in direct sunlight until around 1pm.
Looking for low maintainable green options.
thanks!
Hi @Anthony_,
Those hanging pouches hold a minimal amount of soil, could transpire moisture (if not lined with plastic) and really aren't ideal for most plants. I believe those types of systems are mainly designed to grow small amounts of herbs within.
You should have a reasonable amount of luck growing varieties of pig face, string of pearls and succulents in them. I've found them particularly hardy and grow well in confined spaces. I constructed a green wall out of a system of small containers that are designed for herbs. It receives some ferocious sun in summer, and the team rarely get time to water it. The plants have done exceptionally well. I'll post an image below.
