Newly planted roses have buds turning brown

I have bought two David Austin roses from Bunnings two weeks ago. Planted them in pots. Both plant had buds at the time of purchase and they looked healthy. However, now the buds are showing some signs of browning and some young growth near the buds are also browning and crispy dry. What might have caused this and how to resolve the issues. Should I remove all affected buds and parts? Some hint is really appreciated.

Lot's of good information here. 

I noted the first photo of the spots on the flower buds. Google 'Rain bruising on roses' - this will account for that. It's a botrytis fungus. The fungicides mentioned below will help with that. 

Watering correctly is a key tip here. Roses are VERY susceptible to leaf diseases - so water the ground - not the foliage. This will make a huge difference.

@robchin I also though it was botrytis blight and that’s the reason I sprayed Mancozeb. I doubt it very much though the subsequent black marks on leaves are due to Charlie carp foliage feed. What are your thoughts?

Generally speaking fertilisers won't cause foliage to mark, unless they are used on a hot day and they burn the foliage. With roses, always feed and water on the soil - not the foliage, reduces a lot of risks.
