New sprinkler install

Ive been meaning to do this for a while -  My front yard only has x1 impact sprinkler - it really needs at least x2 (my backyard has x4 semi-permanent ones I already put in)

I finally got around to installing a extra permanent front sprinkler yesterday, and I replaced the old existing one as well which was leaking underground with bad connections and had a leaky rusted out thread where the sprinkler screws on as well.

The job took 1 hour with some 19mm poly pipe,19mm hose clamps, 19mm elbow, 19mm T piece with a female 15mm connector, 19mm elbow with a female 15mm connector, 1200mm long "risers" with 15mm "joiner" connectors screwed onto the end so I could screw 15mm impact sprinklers on (all from memory I think its correct though lols)

Thought I would post up the job so I can see the improvement (hopefully) in my front  lawn next summer

Hi - looking for some guidance - I currently have a pop-up impact sprinkler installed in one corner of my yard. I'm happy with the throw but as suggested above I'm getting the overspray (front porch, windows etc). My question - can I get the same throw from a gear driven popup or wll I need to put several in (which would require more plumbing and a control system to alternate between them).

I believe you should change to pop ups you would save on water and you would not be watering concrete .it is a good idea that you have it just needs refing all you need to do is measure your yard and draw to scale and the take a 10 lt bucket and time how many seconds to fill that bucket .

eg if it takes 20secs to fill formula (60secs/20)x10lits =30lts min then you then check the pop ups  what distance they do and how many ltsper min usesd then you work out how man sprinklers you can use at once
