Workshop member @tetris36 has suggested a new game - name that plant.

 

He's also supplied the first photo for the game. Can you name this plant?

I believe that plant is called 'Redhot Poker'. My grandmother use to grow alot of these in her garden :smile:

Yes, red hot poker (kniphofia) is correct. They are beautiful and come from South Africa.

Hi, 

love the plant and doing a search to find where I can buy one and all I am getting are hedges,  some with flower but nothing like the one you have whiich is gorgeous.

 

Any other name?  so I can buy one?    TU

It's not a Lily or Westringia.

It's an Eremophila or commonly known as Emu bush and there are many varieties.  

I have four different varieties. They are more successful in temperate areas if you can get grafted plants.
