Is it safe to eat garlic when Roundup weedkiller was used nearby?

I have planted some garlic it has started to sprout and I sprayed roundup around the garlic not on the leaves is it safe to eat the garlic when its ready

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Joseph80. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about RoundUp.
RoundUp is a non-residual product, so it doesn't stick around in the soil, nor is the product absorbed through roots. If you didn't spray the garlic directly, it will be fine to eat when it's ready.
