I have recently planted this agave and white spots started appearing on the leaves, it has now started spreading through all my agapunthas. I have removed the agave and aloevera but I'm unsure what to do about the infected agapunthas.
Hi @karlie2502,
Thank you for your question.
The proximity of the plants to each other would certainly increase the ability for issues to transfer. It seems likely that you are dealing with a fungal issue that has transferred from your agave to your agapanthus.
I would suggest you wear a mask and wipe the white spots with a damp cloth to remove any fungal spores. Once wiped, apply Yates Liquid Copper Fungicide to the leaves, following the instructions on the label closely.
You should then monitor the plant to see if anything returns over the next few weeks and follow the same process to manage anything that returns.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
