Hi,
My lime tree has been infected. There are big black insects on the tree and the leaves are curled. I used Yates Natures Way Citrus spray but I am unable to control the insects. Please let me know if I could do anything to save this tree or do I need to have up rooted? My neighbours have very tall Lily Pilly trees on their side and it could be that there may not be much sunlight for the citrus plant?
Thank you
Regards

Is it possible to get a photo of the insect you are dealing with @Gardenhelp?
It would help our members provide more helpful advice.
Thanks,
Jason
Hi @Gardenhelp,
I see numerous stink bugs on your tree, which can be removed by hand or sprayed off with a garden hose. Remember to cover your hand with a plastic bag and wear safety glasses as they can spray you.
There's a curled and dead leaf that likely has a spider inside. That leaf can be removed and disposed of.
The most pressing issue I can see is that the plant appears to be underfed. When was the last time you applied a fertiliser? If it hasn't been for some time, I'd recommend applying Richgro Plus 2.5kg Fruit and Citrus Fertiliser.
Once you've given it a good feed, it should start producing more leaves and then, in the future, fruit.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
