How to treat Buffalo lawn brown patches?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the Bunnings community page and have a question about buffalo lawns. I've attached some pictures for reference. My lawn has some brown patches, and despite applying topsoil and fertilizer, the patches remain. Could anyone advise what I might be doing wrong?

Could you please tell us a little more about your lawn? We are you based? How long ago was the lawn established? How much sun does it get? How often are you watering and feeding?

Additionally, using a soil wetting agent like Seasol Super Soil Wetter can help improve water penetration, especially if your soil is compacted or hydrophobic.
