Re: Star Jasmine

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @roses0000. It's amazing to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about Star Jasmine care.

You might like to have a read through this guide: How to diagnose a sick plant.

I suspect this issue could be due to over or underwatering. Obviously, the soil is very damp in your image, but you might have just watered. Does this area dry out between waterings? If there is inadequate drainage, then the water could be pooling around the plant's roots, and no plant likes constantly wet roots. Conversely, if you are not watering at all, then they could have dried out. If the drainage is adequate you'd look to water at least twice a week over the cooler months and up to three in the warmer months.

After you've watered, wait a day or so, then dig down to a depth of 10cm to check how wet the roots are. It would be best if you watered again only after the soil has started to dry out. If the soil is still damp, hold off on your waterings.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
