Thanks, it is a great community and I would love it to be part of this.
I have a big Cactus Tree in the backyard approximately 2 meters high and 2 meters wide on the ground. I would like to remove it, any DIY ideas, please?
Thanks.
Hi @SyedJaffry,
Thank you for your question about removing a cactus.
Did you have any photos of the cactus that you could upload? This would certainly help our members to offer the best advice specific to your situation.
The process for removing a cactus would be the same as removing a tree. Start at the top, remove the limbs so the central trunk remains and then cut the central trunk, so it falls over. Once the trunk has been cut, dig up the remaining part of the trunk and remove the roots.
This can likely be done with a Cyclone 21" Bow Saw, or even better a chainsaw.
You might like to have a look at How To Remove a Tree for some guidance.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks and definitely I will have look those videos.
The picture is uploaded.
Hi @SyedJaffry,
Thanks for that.
With the added photo, I would change my approach slightly as there aren't really any limbs extending out horizontally.
Start by cutting off the smaller pieces at the front, working your way back towards the taller pieces. Cutting each cacti stem down individually will ensure you are aware of everything that will be falling so there aren't any prickly surprises.
Let me know if you run into any issues, I am more than happy to help further if required.
