How to improve front lawn?

Hello everyone - Happy Monday! Can someone please list out a few steps for us revive this front lawn? I am so sorry - both of us do not have green thumbs and would rely on your inputs to keep this going? Appreciate any tips that someone can shareIMG_0796.jpgIMG_0797.jpgIMG_0798.jpgIMG_0799.jpg

Re: How to strengthen this front lawn?

Hello @mukeshkaura1

Thanks for sharing your question about your front lawn. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm afraid your lawn is completely gone and has been taken over by weeds. The little brown patches that use to be your lawn has dried out and can no longer be recovered. In this instance, I suggest a total make over and putting on new turf. I recommend having a quick look at this discussion - How to remove existing lawn and lay new turf? by @ArunM.

The general steps would be to spray the area with a weed killer and cultivating the soil while manually removing all the weeds and rocks in the soil. Once the soil has been cultivated, I suggest following the directions in this guide - How to lay turf. The guide will tell what you need to add to the soil to prepare it for re-turfing. Please note that the soil must be prepared before you order the turf to your location as the turf must be put into place as soon as it arrives to prevent them from getting damaged.

I also suggest having a look at this featured project - Lawn renovation by @homeinmelbourne, it is an excellent comprehensive guide on how to revive your lawn.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
