hi everyone - have got two lots of broad beans going so before I get too pleased with self 🤪- how often and with what does anyone recommend feeding them?? Thanks !🤸🏽♀️🎶🌈
Hi @stixwoman,
Thank you for your question about feeding broad beans.
Broad beans are very good at regulating their own nitrogen, but can benefit from additional potassium and phosphorus to promote root growth and flowering.
I'd suggest a liquid fertilizer such as PowerFeed Fertiliser Liquid Concentrate applied when flowering begins to help them flourish.

Jacob!! Thank you -👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I shall -apply and look up the guru …. I’d upload a photo but I’m not very tech orirntated when it counts but I’ll find out and show off the beans …,( that’s confidence!!.)
Right now, @stixwoman , I'm harvesting broccolini and pak choy. Cauliflowers are developing nicely and the strawberries have just been tidied up and are showing signs of new growth. Yesterday I pruned back the thornless blackberry (which is a prolific grower and bears a lot of fruit in late summer) as well as some raspberries which, if they don't improve themselves this year, are going to be removed!
Hi Noelle - yummm! - thanks
You are clearly advanced. In this ! I’ve reluctantly given over a bed to have a go - as you can see! But I love tomatoes and cannot seem to grow them!! … so I tend to stick to flowers and trees’ . I’d love to grow some strawberries and have a container -any tips??!
cheers
