How to ensure grass grows evenly?
Hi,
I noticed that the nature strip outside my house grows unevenly. The right grows so much faster and takes more maintenance.
Just wondering is there a way I can make the right side to grow like the left side?

Re: Nature Strip Maintenance
Hello @HaruS
There are possibly a few reasons why one side grows faster than the other. There might be a larger source of water underneath on the right side, that side of the nature strip might have more minerals than the left and the tree could be absorbing most of the minerals on that side thereby slowing down the uptake of the lawn on the left side. One way to get a bit of control is to limit the cut height on the left-hand side leaving it longer.
You can then cut the right-hand side shorter, and since the right-hand side grows faster you should get a few extra weeks of the lawn being level at the same height. My best advice is to adjust your lawn cutting habits to match the growth of your lawn. Another option is to add more lawn fertilizer on the left-hand side to encourage growth.
