Gday so I’m about to plant hedge trees along our verge, now I already have Retic for the lawn which is 25mm pvc pipe.
I was thinking about taping into the pvc with a facet t piece, then a couple fittings and then run that into 13mm black poly to run along the hedge trees for there Retic.
Will this work and not blow of the black poly ( I will use hose clamps to hopefully eliminate this ) the pressure is reasonable and I’m already running 6 pop up sprinklers on that run.
also what little sprinklers would you suggest screwing into the black poly for the hedge plants?
picture attached is what I currently had in mind then the black poly running left and right, but I’m not 100% sure.
happy to hear any suggestions.
cheers
Hi @Glenn83,
Please note that a couple of our resident Bunnings D.I.Y. experts are taking a well-earned break at the moment, so there might be a bit of a delay before one can get back to you. Sorry about that.
Let me see if some other helpful members can share their advice on your set-up: @robchin, @Adam_W, @Eric, @TheSaltyreefer.
Thanks,

Hi. Try this. Simpler and cheaper.https://www.bunnings.com.au/pope-19mm-barbed-x-15mm-bsp-poly-threaded-male-tee-5-pack_p3130425
Hello @Glenn83
As a possible alternative have you considered using a pressure reducing valve and a drip system instead of a pop up? This would be a more economical way to water your hedge. But if you prefer pop ups, I recommend re-examining your system as you'll be adding an extra load on your existing set which will reduce its efficiency. Time will tell if there is too much pressure in the black poly you'll get tear outs at the clamp seals, hose splitting and leaks everywhere.
Here is a handy link regarding lawn pop-ups: Pope Pop-Up Installation.

Gday Eric I won’t be using pop ups to water the hedge plants that would just take all the pressure out of that station.
I was going to trial pope micro eze jet half circle in between two hedges. That was my thinking for now.
HI. That will work for those.
Just to be clear - your not planning to run the lawn sprinkler system at the same time, off the same line as the micro-sprays are you? They need to run off separate lines. Just checking as I wasn't clear. Sorry for asking such a question.
