How to attach hanging baskets to fascia?
I want to attach a hanging basket (or two) to the fascia at the front of my house. The baskets are just the regular size hanging planter but I understand there will be considerable weight in them and I want to know how to attach them securely without damaging the fascia. I thought bracket would be necessary for weight distribution but the brackets I have seen so far are too large for a fascia. Thank you in anticipation of your assistance.

Re: Attaching hanging baskets to fascia
Hello @BJR17
The best spot to anchor a hanging basket would be on the fascia's timber frame. I suggest having a look at this guide - How to use a stud finder. This will help you locate the timber frame in your soffit. Once you've marked the position of the timber frame you can now use a Zenith Galvanised Screw Eye Hammock Hook and secure it to the timber.
If you've drilled into the centre part of the timber, it should be strong enough to hold your hanging plants weight.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
