Garden novice here. We planted a Lilly pilly resilience hedge about 2 months ago. It's planted on a raised garden bed with new garden soil, mulched with sugar cane and watered twice a week with a water system. It was fed with seasol when planted and also had horse manure dug through. I noticed today there are faint spots on the leaves of some of them and would like to know what causes them and how to manage. Location South Coast NSW.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Caro24. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about Lilly Pilly care.
I haven't seen something similar before, and it doesn't resemble any diseases I've come across or that are commonly seen on Lilly Pilly, as far as I'm aware. You didn't happen to spray the Seasol over the leaves, did you? It can stain leaves, and that kind of looks like an atomised spray.
Let me mention our horticultural expert, @Noelle, to see if she has any thoughts.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi @Caro24
I too welcome you to the Workshop Community!
That certainly looks like spray droplets to my eye too. Seaweed and liquid fertilisers applied to the foliage can sometimes cause spots like these as the potency of the spray can cause minor surface damage to leaves.
I would not worry about it - those leaves will survive, live their useful lives and eventually drop when they've aged. Perhaps in the future, ensure the bulk of any liquid fertiliser or tonic application is sprayed on to the soil around the perimeter of each tree.
Thanks so much Noelle and MitchellMc, that makes sense.
