Fencing for front kids play area
Hi All... Joining this platform today. We recently bought new house and currently looking to change the existing porch in the front yard. We are planning to make it into a kids play area with some kind of fencing as the area is around 10m * 5m.
Budget would be around 1000 AUD. Please suggest some pointers and some DIY projects already done of this kind.
Thanks.

Re: Front Porch
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Divakar. Many thanks for your questions, I'd be happy to kick-off the discussion.
It's fantastic to have you join us and we look forward to assisting with your front yard project. If you were intending on fencing the front and sides, 20 lineal meters of any type of fencing is going to be of a considerable cost. There is a potential for a D.I.Y. picket fence to be constructed for slightly above your budget using Wilmaplex 65 x 19mm x 1.2m Cypress DAR Unseasoned Windsor Pickets, 88 x 88mm 3.6m Premium Wrapped Pine Treated F7 KD H4 DAR for posts and Treated Pine Outdoor Timber Framing 90 x 45mm for the rails.
Here are some helpful articles on which fence is right for your home and how to build a picket fence.
Does the fence need to fully enclose the area for safety or is it just for privacy?
Mitchell
