Back in lockdown again we are trying to take advantage of all the spare time! (Hubby’s business has to close in line with gov regulations). ) Still quite wet underfoot but we managed to get a few jobs done. Finished off the Winter pruning and Glen has almost finished cleaning up the trees from the storm back in June. I have put in a few seeds in punnets to get a head start and put in a few flower cuttings.
We recently purchased a cast iron Waratah bench and it inspired Glen to make use of some old cast iron park bench ends that we had picked up. He purchased some Merbau pickets and new galvanised screws from Bunnings and restored it, it looks amazing!! He hopes to make quite a few more to put around our property, just need to find some more ends!
We have been enjoying our veggie patch and I can’t wait to put in the Summer veggies. Spring is just around the corner.

How have you been keeping busy during lockdown? We'd love to hear about any projects or plans that you have going on around your own house and garden. I'm sure you'll find plenty of inspiration within the community, as our creative members are constantly contributing their own projects and ideas.
