I'm attempting to open a device that is secured with three screws. This bit will fit the screw but isn't long enough to reach the remaining screws.
I've looked on the Bunnings website for a suitable tool without luck. So any suggestions please?
By the way, I'm not sure if it is called a "spanner head", "u-shaped head" or something else.

Hi @Gunna,
How large are the recessed holes that the screws are inside? Are they large enough to accept an extension bar? Unfortunately, extension bars fit over the bit and increase their size. If this is an issue, then you'll likely have to find a dedicated handled screwdriver with that style tip. As you've found, such a screwdriver is a specialised tool, and you're unlikely to find individual pieces sold readily.
They can be referred to by a few different terms and are often found in tamperproof bit sets. Some of the most common names are: spanner, snake-eyes, pig-nose and drilled head. Personally, I call them slotted flathead, though that is likely somewhat confusing as a plain flathead screwdriver is also referred to as a slot screwdriver.
If this is just a one-off situation, perhaps you could use a hacksaw to cut a slot and modify a standard flathead screwdriver?
Unfortunately, I've checked with several of our bit suppliers and haven't come across something to suit your needs. Your best bet might be to look online for a specialised supplier.
Let me mention @TedBear to see if he has any suggestions.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the suggestions @MitchellMc particularly the hacksaw hack!
Unfortunately the screws are recessed and won't accept the width of an extension bar. You have saved me hunting through the extensive list of products for one that isn't carried by Bunnings.
Not sure if 75mm is long enough for what you need?

Maybe depending on where you live a shortage of stock, Adelaide I would have to go to the furtherest away stores from me to get them.
That would do the trick nicely. No stock near me, but they deliver too! Thanks
Hi @Gunna , I have a screwdriver in my kit, exactly as @MitchellMc described, made for the same reason as you need it. You can buy a cheap screwdriver for this single task. 🐻
Hi @TedBear , any idea where I can get one from please? I couldn't find one.
Hi @Gunna , I hope I didn't mislead you, but I meant that you have to make one.
Buy a cheap screwdriver or set such as

make sure it includes one that is slim enough to go into the hole and file a slot out of the middle to suit.
