How to seal carport roof?
Hello All,
First time post.
The carport has leaks which I almost stopped with Sikaflex 11FC but drips are back and when poking around, the bead easily peeled away. What sealant should I try next? It needs to be adhesive as it's being applied to the roof interior and needs to bond to metal and wood - some sort of aggressive silicone?
Cheers
Jamin

Re: Interior Carport roof sealing between wood and Colourbond
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Jamin1. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about sealing a roof.
Sikaflex 11FC is one of the best sealants, and there's not really anything I can suggest that would be better. I think the issue here is that you need to seal a leak from the outside and not the inside. Is there something preventing you from doing this repair on top of the roof?
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
