Hi I have small shed in my backyard. There are two cracks on the concrete slab. Could you please advice the best and cheapest way to fix this?
I am thinking off filling the gap with concrete mix and resurface the floor with cement.
Any suggestions
In order to repair such a large crack in your concrete floor, I suggest using Lanko 20kg 173 Floor Leveller in combination with Bondall 1L BondCrete Cement Additive. I propose trying this technique, I suggest using a medium sized thick plastic bag and filling it with mixed mortar and using it as a piping bag so that the mortar can seep deeply into the crack.
Several applications will be necessary, I recommend giving the first application enough time to cure before applying the second topping. When the crack is full of mortar and reaches the surface, I recommend using a trowel to level it with the floor.
As for the part of the floor with the worn-out surface, I recommend using the same products, read carefully the mixing instructions when used as a floor surface repair compound.
Please make sure to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a dust mask when working on your floor repair.

Hi Eric,
Im going to try and fix the concrete in our shed too. So do I mix the Floor Leveller with the Bondcrete Cement together and then apply?
Thanks
Hi @jhimalaya,
Bondcrete can be painted onto the surfaces to improve adhesion or it can be mixed into your cement product. There are instructions on the bottle for both usages. For levelling a floor, it would likely be best to mix it into the floor leveller, though. No need to paint it on the whole surface, unless there is some reason you feel the leveller would not adhere.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
