To get a precise answer regarding the holding capacity of a particular hoist, it's advisable to refer to the manufacturer's documentation or contact the manufacturer directly. However, if the lifting capacity is 100kg, then one could determine that to hold it, it would first have to lift it, so the holding capacity could be no more than the lifting capacity.

With the pully hook installed, that hoist has a max load capacity of 100kg. This is the lifting and load capacity, so it is designed to hold 100kg. If you were after a higher load capacity, I'd recommend you take a look at the Gorilla 500kg Electric Hoist.
Adding a 3rd party wireless remote could be possible, but you'd need to discuss that with an electrician as it's not something the manufacturer has information on.
