Can you change tools in a DeWalt combo kit?

Hi team,

Is it possible to purchase this kit https://www.bunnings.com.au/dewalt-2-piece-18v-brushless-combo-kit_p6260457 and replace it with a 1/2 impact wrench https://www.bunnings.com.au/dewalt-18v-xr-high-torque-impact-wrench-dcf900n-xj_p0423659

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @ScottO. It's fabulous to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about DeWalt combo kits.

Unfortunately, those kits are put together by Dewalt and come with those particular tools. Typically, such kits would include a drill driver and impact driver instead of an impact wrench, as the driver would be considered a more widely used device.

It would be worth having a chat with the Tool Shop team member at your local Bunnings store as they could certainly keep an eye out to see if a kit that better suits your needs comes in.
