 Great job @She_Skills. Is the top of the cabinet stainless steel?

Yes I took the top off a food prep bench, an now I'm going add to a timber top to the stainless steel legs and use it as a butchers block.  I'm a fan of the industrial look :smile:

@She_Skills

That’s a fabulous result it’s what I was hoping to do! Do you happen to have any step by step photos as I’m a complete novice?

Re: Outdoor barbecue cabinet using recycled timber

Hi @Christine2,

Let me mention @She_Skills to see if she might be able to provide some more information on the construction steps. I've have taken the liberty of creating some designs that might assist you in the build. I would suggest constructing the frame from Woodhouse Weatherproof 42 x 42mm 5.4m H3 LOSP Treated And Primed Pine and the door frames from Woodhouse 62 x 19mm 5.4m H3 LOSP Weatherproof Pink Primed Treated Pine. I would make butt joins for all connecting pieces as it is the most simple to achieve. Each of these joins should be glued with Selleys 250ml Aquadhere Exterior Adhesive, clamped and screwed together. Once the frame has been constructed you can clad it with your recycled pallet boards.

Please let me know if you need further assistance with your project or had questions.

Re: Outdoor barbecue cabinet using recycled timber

Hi Mitchell

Thanks so much for all your advice and sketches, this is exactly what I needed to get myself started as I really wasn’t sure about what dimensions of timber would be best.

Have a great weekend.

Christine

Oh this is exactly what I need! Hmmm. Does my skill match the project though...
