Extra storage overhead and underneath was included in this custom workbench design for tools and materials.
The project
After seeing all of the amazing projects shared on Bunnings Workshop, I decided to have a crack at making my own workbench. I found the design idea online but all the measurements are custom to suit my space. I built with 70 x 35 Pine and 16mm MDF boards for the bench and shelving. I also installed castors for easy moving.
This was my first time building anything that wasn’t flat pack furniture so I'm pretty happy with the outcome. I'm looking at adding a pegboard as I grow my tool collection. I’ll also look at extending the bench down the track.
