Resurfacing this Pebblecrete in slate grey completely changed the look of this front porch.
I had my Pebblecrete pool completely resurfaced and I wanted to get my front porch Pebblecrete resurfaced too. I got some quotes to have it skimmed with concrete but they seemed very expensive. As I would like to paint my driveway dark grey, I thought a matching concrete porch would be nice.
It looks a million times better now that it has been resurfaced. It is a lovely slate grey colour. Trouble is now my terracotta pots look daggy.
Resident Bunnings D.I.Y. expert Mitchell offered the following advice for this Pebblecrete resurfacing project.
"Paving paints have great difficulty adhering to Pebblecrete surfaces. If you would like to remove the Pebblecrete you can use Megatreat Textured Primer Coat. You can then colour the primer with Megatreat Liquid Sandstone in charcoal colour (there are a couple of colours in the dark grey range). Both these products are available through the Bunnings Special Orders desk at your local store."
Looks great JRRed. Did you use the megatreat primer on this?
Hi @Cheg
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's splendid to have you, join us, and thank you for sharing your question about the resurfaced pebblecrete.
Let me tag @JRRed to make them aware of your question. According to the text on the Megatreat website, it does work in conjunction with the Megatreat top coatings and can be applied to pebblecrete.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
