Pegboards are an easy way to tidy up tools without taking up limited floor space in a garage or shed.
I was inspired by this garage storage makeover by @lcooksey88 to use Pinnacle pegboards to organise my tools. I bought one Pinnacle 1810 x 410mm Matte Black Metal Pegboard and was so impressed that I went back to Bunnings the next day to buy another one. Definitely a fan here. It looks like you can buy lots of different attachments for the pegboards such as screwdriver and spanner holders and a small shelf.
Easy way to tidy up the tools and looks nice and clean. I'm impressed with the weight these metal pegboards can hold.
With the goal of increasing storage space and providing a functional workspace, lcooksey88 completed this impressive garage makeover using Pinnacle storage products such as pegboards to mount and display various tools.
Workshop member r23on's extended pegboard tool holder offers more storage for organising tools without taking up too much wall space.

Pegboards just make life easier.
Hi Team,
I want to install Pinnacle Peg board into my garage, can you please tell me what are the best screws to hang into normal Garage Studs , it will be for general home stuff, nothing heavy. I just want something sturty and if i screw something into the studs, i don't ever want to move it.
Also, what are good cheap hooks for this Pinnacle pegboards
Hi @JustinMcAbbe,
Due to the mounting holes on the Pinnacle pegboard head stitching timber screws must be used. As you can see in this instructions video, installing those into a brick wall with plastic plugs is a relatively simple process. However, that style of screw is typically only found in shorter lengths and I have concerns about screwing them into timber studs as you'll be losing 10mm to the thickness of the plasterboard and 5mm for them being proud of the wall to hook the pegboard onto. If you were to use the longest version, that would only leave 25mm of thread in the stud. That's a bit short for my liking.
Given this, I recommend you don't use the mounting slots on the rear of the panel and instead screw directly through the holes on the front of the panel with Zenith 14G x 75mm Galvanised Hex Head Timber Screws. This will provide a solid connection to the studs.
I'd strongly recommend that you use the Pinnacle pegs for the board. There are other more budget-friendly hangers, but they are not designed for the Pinnacle board.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Nice work on the tool wall organisation wall. Must be so nice to be able to walk up and simply grab what you need at a glance @Prawns. I bet your friends are jealous.
