A painted feature wall, updated cabinet and new artwork give this formal lounge a bold new look.
This is the final makeover of my formal lounge. I refurbished he old TV cabinet, painted the wall in British Paints' Ace of Spades and added new artwork and a golden cane palm to finish it off.
With the old cabinet I got rid of the glass and added a drawer.
I sanded and primed with Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 stain-blocking primer, then painted with Dulux Aquanamel semi gloss in Atlantic Mystique. I added a Tassie Oak top with clear finish and new black handles.
I had to make some bold choices and stick to them to get the final look!
