New tiles, taps, cabinetry, sink and solid timber benchtop converted a laundry with little working area to a large workspace with room to even groom the dog.
The original laundry for the house had just a tiny bench and nowhere to fold clothes, hang delicates, and most importantly, give the pooch a haircut. So, I ripped out all but the main cupboard shells, painted the doors with the Dulux Renovation range, and installed a solid wood benchtop I bought seven years ago.
We used Plywood panels to build a custom shelf and coated it with enamel paint, installed a new sink and sink mixer and finally hooked up the washer and dryer.
Here is the laundry before I started.
I did everything myself except the tiling. I chickened out at the last minute when I realised that I've never tiled before.
These are the after pictures.
I'm happy how it all came together in the end.
