New benchtops, tiles and paint helped transform this kitchen.
I inherited an ugly kitchen when I bought my house a couple of years ago and now, I finally got around to doing something about it. Initially, I got quotes for the replacement of the benchtops, but I quickly learnt that I was not happy paying the premium they were after and decided to do it all myself.
The cupboards and kitchen island were painted with White Knight Renew Primer and then with two coats of Dulux Renovation Range (Gloss White) to brighten them up. I also re-tiled with stick on tiles which look great.
After that I put on new Soyanut benchtops, and installed a new cooktop, sink and tap. The measurements do need to be accurate in order for the replacement benchtops to fit properly.
I originally got quotes from businesses that were thousands of dollars more than the price I got from Bunnings. Have a chat to them in store and they will help you in your quest.
Now I have a much nicer looking and bright kitchen that I am very happy with.
