Creating a vertical herb garden is easy with these handy hooks and pots.
I built this hanging herb garden using Merbau decking boards, decking screws, Whites Garden Up herb wire hooks (two per pot) and Whites Garden Up Mix'n'Match vertical garden pots.
The hooks easily fit into the pots and are then hooked over the planks of wood. I planted thyme, rosemary, garlic, rocket, spinach, parsley, basil, mint, spring onion and coriander in my vertical garden.
A vertical garden can provide greenery and colour to enliven a drab location and provide plenty of growing space in even very small areas. Create your own by following this step-by-step guide: How to build a vertical garden.
Workshop member kel built three vertical gardens along her fence so she just has to turn on a tap and the whole garden is watered by a rainwater tank.
Workshop member JP_Finlay created this gorgeous vertical garden using old pots and a broken gate.
This is fantastic !! Love it. How’s it all growing @chowie 🥰
Enjoyed reading about your hanging garden, @chowie - such a simple method but so effective. Looks great. Looking forward to reading about your other D.I.Y projects.
