This bedroom makeover combines new side tables, a new bedhead and a new feature wall in neutral tones to create a stylish, cosy space.
We decided to update the guest bedroom, so I knocked up a couple of bedside tables and a sideboard.
We repainted the room in a soft grey with high-gloss white skirts and trims.
We had some old lamps that were bronze and brown in colour. We resprayed the bases in high-gloss black and the shades in a charcoal chalk paint.
The paints we used were:
Walls: Dulux Tranquil Retreat
Trims: Dulux Aquanamel high-gloss white
Furniture: Dulux Super Enamel semi-gloss in Signature; matte black insides
Feature wall: Dulux Wash&Wear Low Sheen in Signature.
I also attached timber to the ensemble base to frame it in with the bedsides.
When the bedhead arrived it was all done.
We updated the bed covers as well. Now it's more of a cosy place to relax and imagine you're on holiday.
