The project

I just finished decking this entry path and it looks amazing. It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be, which has given me the confidence to start on the longer path.

I cut the slats to 80cm long and waterproofed the underside, then I used decking screws to screw them on. I already had a frame from the PVC plantation shutters left over, so I used that. I then bought some PebbleLock to keep the sides neat when I went to add the pebbles.

I then sanded the whole path with 80-grit sandpaper and then whitewashed it.

Finally, it was time for the fun part of styling and buying plants and pots to add a pop of colour.

Thats a nice looking pathway  It certainly lifts the front yard up!

How is it holding up to usage?

Kind of a Big Deal

That's a very enlightening (to me anyway) use of products. I haven't heard of Pebble Lock, but it would have been handy in our last home. And using PVC angle as side framing. Very impressed with how it has all come together.
