This stylish bathroom redesign incorporates gentle lighting to enhance its relaxing, luxurious feel.
The project
We undertook a complete bathroom and toilet renovation. We changed the layout of the bathroom, adding modern furnishings and choosing tiles for the walls and floor to add a modern and luxurious look.
The extra lighting is from LED strip lights stuck on to the tiles behind the bath and under the vanity. The electrician ran the wires behind the tiles to the switch.
It has a relaxing effect when you just want to chill in your bath.
How to plan a bathroom renovation
No matter what type of bathroom you have, it all starts with planning and research to discover how you can make best use of what is often the smallest room in the house. Awesome renovation @Shirld , it looks fantastic! How do you find cleaning around the tub area (more so around the sides and back), choosing between a freestanding tub and an in built one for our own renovation has us at a crossroads.

Hi @Shirld,
Damn that looks good!
Thanks for the photos.
There is something about diffused lighting in a bathroom (or any room for that matter).
I particularly like how the drain on the hand-basin magically disappeared between the 2nd and 3rd pictures.
Nice.
Cheers,
Mike T.
