This bedroom renovation included a new bedhead using VJ panels and a wardrobe converted into a mudroom-style storage space.
We're so excited to see the final product of our D.I.Y. bedroom reno. We wanted our home to have a relaxing and calm ambience with a modern storage solution.
We built the bedhead by making a frame made from 70 x 35mm framing timber and then VJ panels.
Using the mud room concept, we removed a double door wardrobe and created a functional storage space.
For our mudroom we used VJ panels, plus laminated boards for the storage bench. We took hooks from an Adoored 60cm Black 4 Hook Rustic Hat And Coat Rack and painted with Dulux paint in Green Turquoise.
Workshop community member MEalson used Porter's Paints Yacht Race blue on his bedroom renovation with a VJ panelled alcove.
Community member sammilne completed her bedroom makeover using VJ panels in just one day.

Good afternoon @TREVELYAN
That looks so appealing! Love the idea of reusing a space to become useful again. The colours that you have chosen makes you want to just lie down, read a book and drift off to snoozeland!
I really like the clothes hooks you have choosen.
I "dislike" my built in cupboard and always am looking for a different style to store things (As well as stop myself storing things for years!)
