leaking MBI toilet cistern

hello, got a leaking cistern in mbi toilet. Is it better to replace original parts or replace with a new similar type of cistern? And if so any recommendations please? Thanks

Could you please provide more details about where the cistern is leaking from and to? For example, is the leak happening around the flush valve, from the base, or into the toilet bowl itself? If it's just leaking into the bowl, replacing the sealing washer or the flush valve could be a quick fix. If you’re dealing with a more complex issue, replacing the cistern might be a more effective long-term solution.
