I just changed the jumper valve on a bathroom sink cold tap which was dripping and now the pressure has dropped on both the cold tap and the hot tap paired to it. I have dual sinks and the other still has good pressure.
The old jumper value was brass and I would say original (12 years) the new one I bought from you was 13mm jumper valve.
I have change quite a few over the last year or so and this is the only one to lose pressure
Hello @gbullo
I had a similar experience last year after changing a vanity tap washer.
Reduced spout outflow on both hot and cold.
Couldn't fathom it.
Then I discovered the spout had a metal filter at the end. Changing washers disturbed material that got caught and blocked the outflow. Once removed, cleaned and replaced - outflow pressure restored.
Just a pre-wine thought.
Cheers.
Thanks Noyade
I was going to test that today as both hot and cold were affected pointing to something in the mixer sprout.
I am guessing I need to start with the end attachment on the sprout.
Clean filter - flow restored
