What replacement handle for laundry tub?

does Bunnings have a replacement laundry tub door handle for an Everhard cabinet.

The old plastic handle/plastic latch fell to bits as you can see but actual hole is 4 x 5mm

Thanks for sharing your question about replacing the handle of your laundry tub.

The spare part you are after is still available from Everhard Industires. I suggest speaking to the special orders team of your local store and asking them if they can order it for you. The spare part is literally called Plastic Handle the Everhard product code is 97974. The special orders team will need to call Everhard to get a price for the product. Please note that this is a handle only.

Hi Eric,

Do you know if this part is still available as I could not see anything on Everhard website? We just need to replace the catch receiver as circled in the photo but appreciate ei may need to buy the whole handle.

Unfortunately, although Everhard has retained the same handle design as the older models, they've updated the catch mechanism to a magnet. They no longer supply the clip retainer used on older models. However, you might be able to retrofit your older model with a newer style magnet.

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you join us.

Did you have a photo of your laundry tub and the broken door that you could upload? 

Without seeing the door, it would be very hard to point you in the right direction, but it may be possible to order a spare part to replace the old door.

If you can find an identifying number or manufacturer on the laundry tub, this would also be extremely helpful.

Thanks but you were unable to order in the part as it was discontinued so I searched for a stick on handle on eBay, all good now.
