What blank cap for washing machine tap?
Hi guys.
My front load washer doesn’t require hot water connection. The hot water tap on the wall is obstructing where I’d like to position the washing machine, which is on a pedestal. The fitting looks like it would suit a 25mm spanner.
How do I go about replacing this hot water tap with a blanking cap, and what would be the best cap for the job?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Blank cap for washing machine tap
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @FreddyG. It's great to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about blanking off a water tap.
It's likely going to be a 15mm female fitting on the wall, so you'd need a Brasshards 15mm Brass Threaded Hex Plug and Plumber's Tape to cap it off. This is considered plumbing work and requires a licensed plumber to cap the pipe off for you.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
