Hi
There is a small crack in vanity cabinet. M attaching the photo. We visited a Bunnings branch today and showed it to a paint specialist . He said we can use glue and gave us a paint to apply. That paint is water based. My question is will this paint stay there if some water comes in contact with it. And also how to use this glue on that crack.
Kind regards
Hi @arashid.
In answer to your question, waterbased paint will not wash off with water once cured. Please note, what you have there is a sealer, primer, undercoat not a paint.
Were these products recommended for the crack you have pictured or the more extensive damage you had shown previously on another vanity?
For such a tiny crack I would advise filling it with Selleys 8ml Araldite Ultra Clear Epoxy Adhesive and clamping the corner to close the gap. It would be the same method for the PVA, smear it into the crack and then clamp the corner to reduce the width of the crack.

Hi Mitchell!!!!
Thanks for ur reply... it is for this tiny crack. We have managed to order new fronts for the one that r badly damaged. We just want to make sure the door where it just started to crack to fix it before it get worse.
Kind regards
Personally @arashid I would recommend Selleys 8ml Araldite Ultra Clear Epoxy Adhesive as I believe it would be a simpler and more effective product. The products you have been given will also work, just make sure you don't apply too much PVA as a tiny amount is all that is needed.
