Bathroom renovation. Always tricky in a small space.
Hi @tamaraharringd,
Such a gorgeous bathroom transformation! You have done an incredible job. Did you use VJ panelling on the main walls?
Katie
Yes we did. Saved a lot of tiling and money.
When we started planning this bathroom we knew it had to have a skylight. It was so dark to start with. Another must was the great circle
mirror from Bunnings. It also adds as a great night light for the kids.
It was tough to let go of the bath in this room but I just didn’t want to have a shower/bath as I didn’t want to risk someone falling when getting in so we opted for the shower only. The Toilet was originally in a seperate little room but by putting it all in together we gained so much more space. The tiles are a terrazzo look non slip on the ground which are just beautiful. We just used a basic subway tile for the shower walls but by laying them tall it just added to the look. The remaining walls were an easy choice. The Vj panels saved tiling time and a lot of money. And we think they look great.
my favourite feature of this room is the heated towel rail.
Really love the floating wooden cabinet – may I ask where it's from?
Also interested in the floating wooden cabinet @tamaraharringd
Yeah we sure did. Saved money instead of tiling the whole bathroom. Ties into the living room as well.
This was made by a backyard trade man down in rosebud Victoria. I don’t think he makes them anymore.
