Hi,
How can I extend the spindle of the new tapware to fit into the existing plumbing?
Thanks
Hi Sting.
I had this problem years ago - and I feel certain you can buy "extensions" from plumbing places to solve this - ?
Hello @sting
Perhaps you can try this model instead.

I'll have a look to see if the Coroma tap handle fits the spindle.

I'm sure the problem has been solved, but thought I'd illustrate the 'extensions' I got from Tradelink Plumbing. I used this for the cold water supply in a shower where the seating was too deep in the wall.
Once the extension is in place you can use the normal sized spindle readily available separately or in a tap kit.
