Hi,
I was wondering your recommendations on a bathroom/laundry combination vanity that would include space for a front loading washing machine, normal basin and laundry sink (not a priority). Ideally with a single timber top. With a maximum length of 1900mm.
Thanks very much
wt
Hi @wtw,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. We're pleased to have you join us.
Unfortunately, there wouldn't be an off-the-shelf solution for this, so we'd have to look into custom cabinetry from our supplier Kaboodle.
You might like to have a play around with the Kaboodle 3D design planner. It is a great tool for designing and visualising kitchens and laundries. There are options to include appliances, sinks and basins, so you can build out your vanity using commonly sized appliances.
Are you hoping to have a washing machine and both a standard basin and a laundry unit?
Is there a reason you want both a sink and a laundry unit? If so, is there a reason why? It seems like one or the other would be enough.
You could use a 33mm American Oak Benchtop, 600mm Base Cabinet and two 900mm Wall Cabinets alongside your laundry sink, regular basin and washing machine to make something like this.

Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Jacob
Thanks Jacob, much appreciated and apologies for the very belated reply. I don't need the laundry sink, just a nice add on and the opportunity for the washing machine to drain. Please note this is for a bathroom so hoping to get something to suit i.e. nicer. Perhaps its a single 1900mm length (approx) timber counter with one sink, cupboards and allocation for the washing machine at the end. Is this something more standard?
Again thanks,
Wade
It's standard in the sense that it can be put together with Kaboodle cabinetry @wtw. Having a laundry tub means the bench can't span the full distance as per Jacobs rendering above. Are you able to sketch out what you are intending and we can render it for you?
Mitchell

Hey Mitchell,
Something like your attached image looks good for a laundry although I am hoping to get a bathroom vanity with a sink. Therefore thinking something a little nicer, is this something Kaboodle do? Alternatively anything else through Bunnings?
Again thanks,
Wade
Hello @wtw
If you are intending on putting in a vanity with a basin, I suggest looking at installing an Estilo Counter-Top Basin. This will make it standout and give the illusion of a posh vanity basin like the New England Joinery 900mm King SilkSurface Top Floor Standing Vanity. By changing the cabinet colour and going for a white benchtop you'll be able to match the look and feel of this premium vanity.
I suggest checking your local council's rules and regulations in regards to the installation of a laundry tub and vanity in the same location.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
