Laundry renovation to add storage

Our laundry was pretty basic with just a standard trough and little storage. We wanted to make it more practical and use all the space for storage.

We have used all the supplies from Bunnings and hired a plumber from Air tasker to shift the connection. Only sink and tap were sourced from Amazon.

Re: Laundry renovation to add storage

Hello @rachitshah

Your laundry looks great! What a fantastic transformation, can you please tell us, what kind of budget did you set aside for this project? How long did the entire project take? That splashback is very interesting, is it tiles, or did you get some sort of decorative panel?

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful project.

Re: Laundry renovation to add storage

Hi @EricL

Total cost was around 3.8k includes plumber and material cost. I did demolition and cabinet making myself which saved me the fortune. Entire project took 5 days. Splash back is not a tile, its a decorative panel from Kmart.

Re: Laundry renovation to add storage

@rachitshah My laundry is very much similar to what was your previous laundry.

I would like to put Hybrid Floor as well. You reckon that has to be done before installing and after decommissioning everything from there ??

Also, at what stage of renovation you called plumber to shift the taps ?

If you look at my pictures above, I would also like to shift Plumbing point and may be add another electrical outlets under the table for washing machine and dryer. Any advice here.

Also, did you put the benchtop and sink yourself on top of cabinets ?

Thanks in advance.
