1. Measured the space and used Flatpax utility brochure to determine what cupboards sizes would fit
2 bought a new washing machine 8kg as its only 2 of us and lots of compact options out there. We made sure it would fit the space inside the cupboard.
3 we removed the old laundry trough and 2 door utility cupboard and old washing machine
4 plumber and electrician did their part and we fixed the wall after plumber was done.
5. we bought 2 x 900 floor cabinets 1x 450 floor cabinet 2 x 900 wall cabinets and 1 x 45 floor cabinet. kaboodle bench top, laundry sink, sink tap and washing machine taps
6 assembled all the cupboards together minus the doors. we made adjustments to one 900 floor cupboard
we did not install the shelved and cut the bottom shelf leaving room for cupboard feet and enough space for washing machine. Confirming there is enough space for movement of washing machine. You will see in pic the bottom panel this click to legs so we have access to clen filter or be able to take washing machine out if needed
7 placed the floor cabinets in position, used clamps and adjusted legs to make it level, checked to make sure washing machine fits then screwed the cupboard to each other and the wall checking levels at all times. we then placed the washing machine in its position inside the cupboard.
8 we then installed the benchtop cutting the whole for sink before bolting the benchtop. sink was then installed
9 we then installed the wall cabinets as you can see we improvised as we did not have stands at the time to hold the cabinets.
10 the cupboards door installation was the last step

Good morning @SJBH
I like the straight lines of your laundry, It really "gives the room a lot of space" feeling. The above the benmch cupboards certainly give a lot as storage and I must admit as soon as I saw them I was thinking "now I could put this and that into there"
Thats a nice and clean job.
