The design
We designed the laundry / powder room to maximise on wall storage as the room was only 1800mm long, which was largely the dryer and washing machine.
We also wanted to modernise the room adding some warmth and statement tiles.
Demolition
We removed the original sink and got a plumber to move all the pluming to our preferred locations (under bench).
Install upper cabinets
We then installed the upper cabinets and built some custom shelving around them. We also framed a portion on the wall above the sink area and installed some VJ panels for some depth and texture.
Install lower cabinet
We then installed the laminate benchtop and the bottom 450mm cabinet with a timber panel as a feature
Flooring
We then installed the vinyl flooring planks over the existing tiles.
Tiling
I then completes the tiling.
Lighting
We then installed some rechargeable strip lighting behind the mirror to add some ambiance to the room.
Thank you @Noyade !
We are really happy with it.
My mistake, it's the Practa range for both 300mm and 600mm. https://www.bunnings.com.au/flatpax-utility-300mm-1-door-wall-cupboard_p2668917
What a wonderful project and level of finish you've achieved there, @diy_hausdesigns. I trust you are exceptionally happy with the way it turned out. I love everything about your transformation, including the cabinet doors, benchtop, taps, handles and tiles; it all works so well together.
Well done and many thanks for sharing your steps and results. I trust your project will inspire many of our members to try something similar.

Hi @MitchellMc
Thank you kindly. We tried to make sure it was as cohesive as possible ! We really are happy with it and greatful it was relatively cheaper to build than what it may look like.
