Hello,
Im Renovating my bathroom.
One tiny section of the wall show a kind of rust (see photo).
I've treated the whole walls with antimould products and paints.
Can I use these products for the rust or do I need a different type of product? Thanks a mil
Hi @ventodimare
Yes that looks like rust from a rusty iron plate under the paint.
Ideally the best fix would be to sand it back to bare shiny metal and repaint it as the rust will keep coming back if you paint over it or clean it as it is.
A short-term solution would be to clean it with a product called CLR (Calcium lime rust) this will remove the current rust there cleaned with a robust scrubbing tool from the kitchen do wear gloves for this product as it will sting open sores.

Hello @ventodimare
That's a good recommendation from @Jewelleryrescue. However, if the stains are too persistent it might be necessary to sand the surface to remove the rust spots on the frame. Just keep in mind that if you do sand the surface, it will necessary to repaint that section of your window frame.
