Hi I just bought this showerhead to replace the fixed one in my bathroom:

I screwed it onto the threaded pipe sticking out of the wall, but can't get the water spout to point down. It's too tight to tighten it clockwise anymore, and it feels too loose if I turn it anti clockwise to make it point down. I've attached a photo - what can I do about it? Thanks!
Hi @unawarek,
The amount of thread tape wraps you put onto the threaded pipe sticking out of the wall governs the final position of the hose. So, if you've put four wraps on and the hose only gets to the four O'clock position, then you should try three and a half wraps. That would likely allow you to turn it to the six O'clock position, and it will be firmly in place. It can take a few tries, but eventually, you'll get the right number of wraps.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
